One System for Announcements, Music and Emergencies

A public address system is the voice of your building. Done well, it pages a staff member without startling customers, plays comfortable background music in a showroom and delivers clear evacuation instructions in an emergency. We design and install PA and background music systems for offices, retail floors, warehouses, factories and institutions.

Core Building Blocks

  • Speakers. Ceiling speakers for offices and stores, wall speakers for corridors, horn speakers for warehouses and yards where throw and volume matter more than fidelity, and pendant speakers for high ceilings.
  • Amplifiers. Commercial PA systems run on 70V or 100V line architecture, which allows dozens of speakers on long cable runs with individual volume taps — a different discipline from home audio.
  • Zoning. The building is divided into zones such as reception, office floor, warehouse and parking. Announcements target one zone or all; music plays in customer areas but not the workshop.
  • Sources and paging. Desk paging microphones with zone selection, music streaming players, and telephone integration so an authorised person can page from an extension or even remotely.

Background Music Considerations

For retail and hospitality clients we set speaker density so music stays even and gentle — many quiet speakers always beat a few loud ones. We also advise on licensed commercial music sources, since playing personal streaming accounts in commercial premises can create licensing issues.

Emergency Use and Compliance

Where the PA doubles as an emergency announcement system, design becomes stricter: priority override so emergency messages cut through music, battery backup, and integration with the fire alarm panel for recorded evacuation messages. We design to these requirements for warehouses, factories and multi-floor offices.

Typical Projects

A 20 speaker office system with two zones is a modest, quick project; a factory campus with horn arrays and fire integration is a detailed engineering job. Both start with a site survey — book yours at app.techguru.co.in or +91-8800567676.
