Our Content Calendar Process — From Ideas to Approval Print

  • 0

Clients often ask how we decide what gets posted on their pages and how much control they retain. The answer is simple: nothing is published without your approval. This article walks through the monthly content calendar process Lookup Marketing follows for every social media client.

Step 1: Monthly Planning Inputs

Around the 20th of each month we collect inputs for the following month:

  • Your offers, launches, events and stock priorities
  • Festivals and observances relevant to your audience — Diwali, Holi, Independence Day, regional days
  • Performance data from the current month: which posts earned reach and enquiries
  • Competitor and trend observations from our team

Step 2: Calendar Draft

We prepare a dated calendar covering every planned post: platform, format such as Reel, carousel or story, the caption, hashtags and a description or draft of the creative. The calendar shows a healthy mix — promotional, educational, engagement and festival content — so the page never becomes a wall of advertisements.

Step 3: Your Review and Approval

The draft is shared with you before the month begins. You can approve it as-is, request edits to specific posts, or swap topics. We incorporate feedback and share the final version. Only approved content enters the publishing queue.

Step 4: Publishing and Mid-Month Flexibility

Posts go out on schedule, but the calendar is not rigid. If a trend, news moment or sudden offer appears, we draft the post, send it for quick approval on WhatsApp or email, and publish the same day where possible.

Step 5: Month-End Reporting

You receive a report covering reach, engagement, follower growth and enquiries, along with what we recommend doing more of next month. Questions about your calendar? Call +91-8800-567676 or raise a ticket.
