SiteLock Website Security — Scanning & Malware Removal Print

  • 0

SiteLock continuously scans your website for malware, vulnerabilities and blacklisting, and (on higher plans) removes infections automatically.

What it does daily

  • Malware scan — files and pages checked against known signatures and behaviours
  • Vulnerability scan — outdated CMS/plugins, SQL-injection and XSS exposure
  • Blacklist monitoring — alerts if Google or spam lists flag your domain
  • Trust Seal — a verifiable badge for your site that increases buyer confidence

Plan levels

  • Scan-only plans alert you to problems.
  • SMART plans also connect via FTP and automatically remove detected malware.
  • Firewall (WAF/CDN) add-ons block attacks before they reach the site and speed it up globally.

Setup

  1. Order from Store → SiteLock Website Security.
  2. Verify domain ownership (DNS or file upload — we assist).
  3. For SMART auto-removal, add FTP credentials in the SiteLock dashboard.
  4. Add the Trust Seal snippet to your footer.

If SiteLock finds malware

Do not panic-delete files. Let SMART clean automatically, or open a priority ticket — we restore from backup, patch the entry point (usually an outdated plugin or weak password) and request blacklist review.
