Email Spam Filtering Service — Setup & Quarantine Print

  • 0

Our cloud spam filter sits in front of your mailboxes: inbound mail is scanned in the cloud and only clean mail reaches your server.

How activation works

  1. Order Email Spam Filtering from the Store for your domain.
  2. We change your domain's MX records to the filtering cloud (we handle this for domains on our DNS).
  3. Mail flows: Internet → Spam filter → Your mailboxes. Nothing changes for your users' apps.

Day-to-day use

  • Quarantine digest — a periodic email lists blocked messages; one click releases a false positive.
  • Whitelist / blacklist — allow trusted senders, block persistent nuisances (per address or whole domain).
  • Virus & phishing protection — malicious attachments and lookalike-domain phishing are stopped before delivery.
  • Outbound filtering (optional) — protects your domain reputation and catches compromised mailboxes sending spam.

FAQs

  • A real email got quarantined — release it from the digest and whitelist the sender; the filter learns.
  • Spam still arriving? Confirm old MX records were removed — spammers deliver straight to servers that still accept direct mail.
  • If our filter is ever unreachable, mail queues and retries automatically — nothing bounces.
