We migrate your existing website to Tech Guru hosting free of charge, with near-zero downtime when done in this order:
The process
- Open a migration ticket with: current hosting provider, control panel type (cPanel/Plesk/other), and login details or a full backup file.
- We copy everything — files, databases and (where possible) email — to your new account. Your live site is untouched.
- You preview the migrated copy on a temporary URL and confirm it works.
- DNS cutover — we point the domain to the new server (lower TTL in advance to make this fast).
- Old hosting stays live during propagation, so visitors see the site throughout. Cancel the old plan only after 48–72 hours.
What we need from you
- Old control panel login OR a full backup (files + database export)
- Domain registrar access if the domain is elsewhere (for the nameserver change)
- A maintenance window preference for database-driven sites (we sync the DB at cutover so no orders/posts are lost)
Email caution
If email currently lives on the old host, tell us before cutover — mailboxes must be recreated and devices repointed on migration day to avoid missed mail.
