Scaling Up and Returning Equipment - End of Rental Guide Print

  • 0

Every rental reaches a decision point: extend, expand, or return. Handled well, this stage is painless. This guide explains how each path works with Tech Guru IT Solutions and what you should do before returning any equipment.

Scaling up mid-rental

Growth is the easiest scenario. Additional units are added to your existing agreement with a simple written confirmation, delivered and installed like the original batch. Where possible we match the existing configuration so your fleet stays uniform, which simplifies support and user experience. If your workload has outgrown the original specification, we can also swap units for higher configurations with an adjusted rate.

Extending the tenure

Our team contacts you before the agreement end date. If the project continues, extension is a one-line confirmation and the equipment simply stays in place. Long-running clients often move from short-term rates to cheaper long-term rates at this point, so an extension can actually reduce your monthly cost.

Returning equipment the right way

  • Back up your data first. Copy all business data off rented machines before pickup. Once units leave your premises, retrieval is not guaranteed.
  • Deactivate accounts and licences: sign out of email, cloud drives and licensed software tied to your organisation.
  • Gather accessories: keyboards, mice, adapters, remotes and cables listed on the delivery challan should be ready with the units.
  • Schedule pickup: book a slot through the portal so our team arrives with the right vehicle and checklist.

Data safety after return

Returned storage drives are wiped before any machine is issued to another client. If your data is sensitive, tell us and we will perform the wipe in a documented manner.

Deposit settlement

After verification against the original checklist, your security deposit is refunded. Most returns settle without any deduction. Questions at any stage: app.techguru.co.in or +91-8800567676.
