Setup steps after ordering
- Order the licences from the client portal and note the number of users you need.
- Verify domain ownership. If your DNS is hosted with us, we add the verification TXT record free of cost.
- Update MX records to the Google mail servers. Again, this is configured free for hosted domains; just raise a ticket.
- Create your first admin account, then add users from the Admin Console under Directory, Users.
- Set a strong password policy and enforce 2-Step Verification for every account from day one.
Creating first users correctly
Use a consistent naming pattern such as firstname@yourdomain.in. Create role addresses like sales@ and support@ as groups rather than paid users, since groups are free and can deliver to multiple staff members.
