Daily habits
- Return C-72 handhelds to their charging cradles at shift end. Deep discharging batteries repeatedly shortens their life.
- Wipe handheld screens and scan windows with a dry microfibre cloth.
- Confirm the UDM9R gate indicator lights are normal at opening time, and walk a test tag through once.
Weekly checklist
- Dust the UDR102 desktop reader and its cable connections. Loose USB or power connectors cause the most common tagging failures.
- Inspect gate reader antennas for physical knocks from forklifts or trolleys, and confirm mounting bolts are tight.
